Why We Started Certified Sliders
Certified Sliders was born from a father’s perspective — building a verified, athlete-first community for high school track and field athletes to be seen, rated, and celebrated
I’m a physician, a former track athlete, and—most importantly—the father of three amazing track and field athletes. Certified Sliders began with them.
When my high-school sophomore started chasing serious goals on the track, I realized something was missing. There was no central place where young athletes could truly showcase their talent. Social media can show highlights, but it doesn’t validate or organize performance data in a meaningful way. And unlike football or basketball, track and field doesn’t have a trusted rating or ranking system for high-school athletes.
That didn’t sit right with me—because the work these kids put in deserves recognition and a credible platform.
Certified Sliders was built to change that.
Our mission is to create a verified, athlete-first community where every sprinter, jumper, and thrower can proudly display their marks and milestones. We’re helping families build track and field résumés that matter, while also giving NCAA coaches tools to identify and track talent more efficiently.
We believe that recognition should be earned, verified, and celebrated—not gated behind paywalls or ads. That’s why athletes will always have full access for free, with no intrusive advertising. Our future revenue will come from optional, premium tools for coaches and parents, and from tasteful sponsorships that enhance—not interrupt—the experience.
Certified Sliders is for everyone who loves this sport—the athletes chasing PRs, the parents cheering from the fence, and the programs building the next generation of champions.
